spriteCloud Team

spriteCloud really started a few years ago when four career QA engineers came together to work for Joost, a global IPTV media startup based in The Netherlands and found they had a mutual interest in the art and science of software Quality Assurance. At Joost they worked as part of the team that led the Quality Assurance charge to roll out high quality releases of a web service developed in short sprint/release cycles.

Much of the groups collective knowledge about Quality Assurance was challenged under the pressure of meeting very tight deadlines in the loosely structured work environment at the new media startup. Over time the team began to refine their own set of QA practices to compliment the development work that was built on a foundation of open source technology and herded together using AGILE development practices. This work culminated in a paradigm of new ideas based on open source testing frameworks which could be adopted by any QA group working in web development.

When Joost closed its doors in Europe, the opportunity presented itself to form their own company and bring these ideas to the broad QA community world wide, and so spriteCloud was formed. The company focuses on providing both Quality Assurance services, and what they feel is, quite simply, the best QA tools and solutions for AGILE web development shops on the market today.
