This internship is for you if…
…you're looking for more than a checkbox on your CV. If you want an internship where you actually learn, where you get a taste of how a company really works, where you're trusted with real things early on and where your ideas are taken seriously, then keep reading.
We're looking for an HR intern to join our HR team during a period of reflection, growth, and change. We're actively reviewing how we work and improving our HR processes, which means you'll join at a moment where things are evolving. That is exactly what makes this internship interesting: you won't just follow existing steps, you'll explore why things are done the way they are, and how they can be done better.
This is not an internship where you disappear into a spreadsheet or spend months doing only one tiny task. You'll be part of the team and right in the middle of how people, processes, and culture come together. You'll be supported, guided, and trusted.
What you'll experience
During your internship, you'll gain hands-on experience across different parts of the organization. This includes:
- Learn how HR processes are designed and improved by supporting the HR team with administration and process optimization: noticing what works, what doesn't, and how things can be better.
- Learn about recruitment by supporting the Talent Manager with sourcing, filtering, screening and administrative tasks, and getting insight into how hiring decisions are made.
- Learn how a workplace runs day to day by supporting office management tasks, helping create a welcoming and well-organized environment for the team. This includes coordination of office logistics and lunch preparations, giving you insight into how daily operations support employee experience.
- Learn how internal events come together by assisting the Employee Experience Coordinator with planning and execution of company events, training, and team moments.
You'll take on responsibilities step by step, with guidance and support, so you can build confidence while learning.
Who you are
- Studying HR, Psychology, Business, Organizational Studies, or something related. Or coming from a different field and curious about people, processes, and organizations.
- Curious, and you like understanding how things work
- You enjoy structure, clarity, and improving processes. You enjoy admin tasks.
- You care about people and fairness
- You feel comfortable asking questions and taking initiative
- You want to learn as much as possible from your internship
- Tech savvy: you can easily find your way around systems and tools
- You live in or near Amsterdam, so coming to the office a few days a week feels easy
- English is required. Dutch is a plus.
What you can expect from us
- A human, friendly, and supportive environment
- An internship focused on learning, not just output
- Early involvement and meaningful work
- Guidance, feedback, and space to grow
