Test Automation Engineer

The role

You work at client sites, inside their engineering teams. Finance, logistics, public sector. Some engagements hand you a broken framework to fix. Others start from zero.

Either way: you build and maintain automation frameworks, wire tests into CI/CD pipelines, write documentation that people actually use, and coach the QAs around you. You also advise clients on what to automate and what not to.

Client work means switching contexts. You'll work across sectors and stacks, and you'll need to get productive in an unfamiliar codebase fast.

What we're looking for

• Based in the Netherlands, valid work permit required
• 3+ years building and maintaining automation frameworks
• Hands-on with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or comparable tools
• API testing experience via Postman, SoapUI or Dredd
• CI/CD integration: you've wired tests into a pipeline, not just run them locally
• Code in at least one of: Java/C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python/Bash
• ISTQB Foundation or higher (or TMAP) is a plus
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• Performance testing or cloud experience (Docker, GCP, Kubernetes) is a bonus
